Kickball Rules are the same as Softball Rules

CUPS FOR BEVERAGES
Plastic cups are a MUST!! NO glass and NO cans!! Beverages MUST
be in a SMALL soft-sided cooler and outside the dugout at all
times. Coolers MUST be soft sided. No hard sided or roling
coolers will be allowed.

Bring a trash bag to clean up the dugout after your game is over!!
You MUST take your trash with you when you leave
the park!!!! Please do not leave trash for the next team to clean
up….we are NOT your mothers! Do not put your trash in the
garbage cans at the fields. Take your trash with you.
1. NO BITCHING!!
2. NO BUNTS!!
3. NO BOUNCIES!!
4. Fielders must stay out of the baseline and
cannot block the base. Runners hindered by any fielder within
the baseline, not making an active play for the ball, shall be
safe at the plate to which they were running.
5. Players: Maximum of 11 players in the field.
Only one more male than female in the field at any time.
•
A minimum of 8 players (4 guys, 4 girls) are required to start
game. Any team that fails to meet these requirements 15 minutes
after scheduled game time will result in a forfeit.
•
If there are more than 8 players in the field, you must have
a catcher.
6. All fielders MUST be behind the 1st –
3rd diagonal until the ball is kicked. No charging the kicker.
7. The runner gets 1 base on an overthrow ONLY
if the ball is thrown “out of play.” Out of play means:
if the ball has been thrown over the fence or in the dugout.
8. Kicking order must alternate by gender.
•
Please establish a kicking order before each game. Teams CANNOT
change the kicking order once it has been established. All players
in the kicking order MUST kick, but do not have to field.
• Subs are allowed, but you must inform the other team
of the substitution.
9. A count of 4 fouls is an out.
•
If the ball is touched and dropped by a fielder in foul territory,
the ball is dead and is considered a foul.
•
If the ball is caught in foul territory, it is considered an
out.
10. No leading off and no stealing.

All balls must be kicked behind home plate.
12.
If the ball is thrown at the runner and hits them in the head,
the runner is safe and advances 1 base. If the runner slides this
rule does not apply.
13.
Once the pitcher has the ball and is on the mound, the
play ends.
14.
When the ball is kicked in the air and is touched by
a player in FOUL territory and is dropped, the ball is FOUL. If
the ball is touched in FAIR territory before going into FOUL territory,
the ball is FAIR.
15.
All disputes are to be resolved by Rock, Paper, Scissors (TEAM
CAPTAINS ONLY)
